Aisha Hinds, an American actor best recognized for her roles on the tv shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has proven her ability to act in a variety of roles by performing outstandingly in TV programs like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. However it was her performance as women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actress. Hind was recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for its third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release mid-2019. The father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist. He died on 18 March 2017. Her mother Vrinda lives at home. The older brother of Bachchan is Aditya Rai who works as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. Akhila Rai, Bachchan's elder brother, was a co-producer and wrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Her family moved to Mumbai, where she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. After completing her intermediate studies at Jai Hind College, she took up a place at D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% of the H.S.C. exams. She was a classical music student and dance for five years through her teenage period. Her passion was for Zoology. Bachchan as a student studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. Her title brought her onto the front of modeling. She received lucrative positions with PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine and also an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. Her acting career was successful. career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan became the front line of New Bollywood after both films disrupted the established structure of Bollywood films of the time. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood by her performance as Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas a film which was one of the Bollywood's greatest films. It was also the first Bollywood movie to screen at Cannes Film Festival. It was widely praised for her performance in Chokher Bal (2003), a dramatic play based on the novel of RabindranathTagore. This year she was named the first Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice by Gurinder Chadha. This is a dance and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. It was at this point that Bachchan was able to bring her fame and a beautiful face to her first major film in English. After releasing Provoked the - a True Story in English, she came back to Bollywood and appeared in the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). She was married in April 2007 to Abhishek Bachchan, who was a frequent co-star, and son of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought two of India's most prominent personalities.
