Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis Greek pronunciation (born on October 1st 1969): American comedian, comedian, musician, and writer. He was also a guest on Comedy Central Presents and hosted Late World With Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has been featured in movies such as The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He also appeared in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis has also voiced characters in animated films like Puss In Boots (2011) and The Lego Batman Movie (2017). He has also voiced Missing Link (2019) and Ron's Gone wrong (2211). Galifianakis is currently the host of the talk show Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis has appeared on the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born on October 1 1969, in Wilkesboro. He is the son of Mary Frances (nee Cashion), and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil dealer. His mother is English and Scottish-Irish, whereas his paternal grandparents originate from Crete. He was baptized in the father's Greek Orthodox faith. He is the father of Merritt an older sister, and Greg, an older brother. The cousin of his is Washington Post cartoonist Nick Galifianakis, while his uncle, also named Nick Galifianakis, is a politician. Galifianakis was a student at Wilkes Central High School. Then, he attended North Carolina State University and majored in communications. Galifianakis interned at a local radio station in college. He taught the waltz, in 1991, when he was introduced to Mary J. Blige. Galifianakis was the Saturday Night Live host for two weeks after his TV debut in Boston Common. He's said "I did work for Saturday Night Live for two weeks, and Britney Spears hosted the show for a week while I was doing it. I sketched a picture. Will Ferrell was to be her bodyguard at the belly button. We planned to shrink Will to look like the belly button. ...she simply stared at me when I explained the idea to her.
